Turkish FM to travel to Luxembourg for EU accession ceremony

    LUXEMBOURG, Oct. 3 (Xinhuanet) -- Turkish Foreign Minister Abdullah Gul will travel to Luxembourg for the ceremony formally launching his country's accession to the European Union (EU), sources said here on Monday.

    Earlier on Monday, EU foreign ministers reached here a tentative agreement to open full membership talks with Turkey after hours of difficult bargaining, the sources said. Enditem
