At least 37 killed in 3 car bombs in Iraq

   BAGHDAD, Sept. 29 (Xinhuanet) -- At least 37 killed on Thursday when three car bombs exploded almost simultaneously in Balad, 90 km north of Baghdad, an Interior Ministry source told Xinhua.

   "The first car bomb blew up at 6:30 p.m. (1430 GMT) in central Balad. About 10 minutes later, the second car bomb exploded in the same street, and at 7:00 p.m. (1500 GMT), the third bomb exploded in the nearby area of Bad al-Sour. So far at least 37 were killed and 50 others wounded," the source said on condition of anonymity. Enditem
