BEIJING, Sept. 26 (Xinhuanet) -- A strong earthquake rocked the northern part of Peru Monday morning, China's state seismological bureau said.

    The quake, measuring 7.6 on the Richter scale, jolted northern Peru at 9:55 a.m. (Beijing time) and its epicenter was located at 5.7 degree south latitude and 76.4 degree west longitude, according to China's seismological station network. Enditem
