Three killed in tire factory blaze in Canada

    OTTAWA, Sept. 25 (Xinhuanet) -- Three people were killed Sunday ina tire factory fire that caused about 1 million Canadian dollars (about 800, 000 US dollars) in damages near Montreal, second largest city of Canada.

    The blaze occurred in L'Annonciation, about 150 km northwest of Montreal, reports reaching here said.

    An estimated 4,000 tires which were stored in one building were totally destroyed. But fire officials were able to limit the blaze to that building and a nearby warehouse with 2,500 tires was spared, police said.

    The cause of the fire is yet to determine. Enditem
