www.chinaview.cn 2005-09-25 02:09:36

GAZA, Sept. 24 (Xinhuanet) -- Al-Qassam Brigades, armed wing ofthe Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), declared on Saturday a status of emergency and called upon its militants to be ready to carry out strikes in retaliation to Israeli army attacks. The group took the measures after an Israeli army air strike carried out by reconnaissance drone on a Hamas militants car, where two were killed, said the brigades in a leaflet sent toreporters.

The leaflet said Hamas call on all its militants to respond to the "Zionist" enemy's crimes and strike on it everywhere "in ouroccupied homeland without mercy to revenge for the blood of themartyrs and teach this enemy a lesson".

The group also called on other militant groups to be careful,to be on alert and declare a status of emergency by reconsidering all the previous security measures were valid before. Meanwhile, the group slammed the Palestinian National Authority(PNA) and called some of PNA officials "those aides of the occupation", which gave Israel the excuses to exaggerate incommitting more crimes against our people.

The PNA has earlier said that the reason of the explosion in Jabalia refugee camp on Friday during a Hamas rally, where 19 people were killed, was internal and Israel is not involved. But Hamas insisted that Israel was involved and fired dozens of homemade rockets at southern Israel after the explosion. The Israeli army responded to Hamas attacks by carrying outstrikes on militants.

Israeli drones fired two missiles at two cars of Hamas militants in Gaza City, saying there were militants in the car that were on their way to fire more homemade rockets at Israel. Enditem
