ROME, Sept. 22 (Xinhuanet) -- A suspect in the July 21 London bombings left Rome to be extradited to Britain on Thursday, Italian police said.

Hamdi Issac, a British citizen also known as Osman Hussain, was flown from Rome's Ciampino airport at around 12:15 p.m. (1015 GMT). A suspect in the July 21 London bombings left Rome to be extradited to Britain on Thursday

He was arrested in Rome on July 29 for his suspected role in the failed bombing at the Shepherd's Bush subway station.

No one was killed in the four, near-simultaneous attacks, which came two weeks after the July 7 London bombings which killed 56 people.

Issac fought extradition, but Italy's highest court upheld a lower court's ruling to extradite him. Enditem
