Helicopter carrying Mexico's top public safety official missing

    MEXICO CITY, Sept. 21 (Xinhuanet) -- A helicopter carrying Mexico's public safety secretary is missing, the president's office said Wednesday.

    The helicopter, carrying Ramon Martin Huerta, who heads Mexico's federal police, took off from a military parade grounds and was headed to La Palma prison west of Mexico City when it lost contact,a spokesman for President Vicente Fox said. Enditem
