BOGOTA, Sept. 12 (Xinhuanet) -- Colombian government sent negotiators to hold dialogues with the hijackers of a Colombian airliner, in which ten men remained hostages, local media said on Monday.

The Aires plane, with 20 passengers aboard, was hijacked and landed in a military airport in Bogota.

The airliner had departed the southern city of Florencia when the two men armed with grenades commandeered it, according to Gen.Edgar Lesmez, chief of the Colombian Air Force.

Eight women and two children were released, according to local reports.

The hijackers were identified as Luis Ramirez Reinoso, 41, and his son Lisen House Ramirez, 22, who said they acted to call the attention of authorities over a personal issue.

Among the hostages are president of the Accusations Commission of Senate Reinaldo Duque and Lower House Representative Luis Antonio Serrano. Enditem
