Colombian govt negotiating with plane hijackers
BOGOTA, Sept. 12 (Xinhuanet) -- Two armed men hijacked on Monday asmall Colombian plane carrying about 25 people, an Air force official told local media.
The plane was on its way from the southern city Florencia to Bogota before it was taken by the two men apparently armed with grenades, Air Force Gen. Edgar Alfonso Lesmez told local media.
Lesmez said the plane has made an emergency landing at a military airport in Bogota and the authorities are trying to contact the hijackers.
He said the hijackers want talks with a human rights organization. Enditem
