NEW DELHI, Sept. 10 (Xinhuanet) -- A Russian diplomat in India Saturday said it is dangerous to use terrorism as a tool in the geo-political game, Press Trust of India (PTI) reports Saturday.

    "It is dangerous to use terrorism as a tool in the geo-political game as it can destabilize regions and backfire on the sponsors," PTI quoted the Russian Ambassador to New Delhi, Vycheslav Trubnikov as saying during a conference on terrorism here. Trubnikov, however, did not name any country.

    Speaking at a conference on Global Terrorism, held in the Indian capital Saturday, Russian Ambassador to India Vycheslav Trubnikov also said decisive action should be taken against countries which promote and support terrorism.

    The conference was organized a day ahead of the 4th anniversary of the September 11 attacks on the World Trade Towers in New York. Enditem
