EC says first signal "positive" on approving EU-China textile deal

    BRUSSELS, Sept. 6 (Xinhuanet) -- The "first signal" for the European Union (EU) member states to approve the EU-China textile deal was "positive," European Commission (EC) spokeswoman Pia Ahrenkilde Hansen said here on Tuesday.

    She said that "hopefully" the EU member states would "give green light" to the blocked Chinese import garments at EU ports "early next week." Enditem
