BEIJING, Sept. 5 (Xinhuanet) -- The death toll inflicted by typhoon Talim in China climbed to 95 by Monday, and 30 others have gone missing, according to the Ministry of Civil Affairs Monday.

Causing direct economic losses of 12.19 billion yuan (about 1.5billion US dollars), the typhoon brought torrential rainfall, severe landslides and mudflows to provinces of Zhejiang, Anhui, Fujian and Jiangxi in east China and Hubei in central China, said the ministry

In one of the worst hit provinces of Anhui, 59 people have beenreported dead and 12 others missing. Economic loss there has reached 2.75 billion yuan (335 million US dollars).

The ministry has dispatched working teams to the affected regions to help local authorities with relief work. Vice Minister Jia Zhibang on Monday also headed a team jointly comprised of officials from the Ministry of Civil Affairs and the Ministry of Finance to Anhui on Monday. Enditem
