Turkish driver killed in missile attack in Iraq

    ANKARA, Sept. 5 (Xinhuanet) -- A Turkish driver was killed in a missile attack near Iraqi city of Belet, semi-official Anatolia News Agency reported on Monday.

    The 66-year-old Turkish driver Husey in Ozturk was killed in amissile attack near Belet when he was carrying prefabricated huts to the Americans, the report said.

    Ozturk will be laid to rest in his hometown of Iskenderun onMonday.

    Nearly 120 Turkish drivers who have always been the victims ofthe insurgent attacks have been killed since the US-led invasion of Iraq started in March 2003.  Enditem
