www.chinaview.cn 2005-09-05 14:57:33

BEIJING, Sept. 5 -- Taiwan love songs queen Jasmine Leung will stage her long-anticipated "Love Parade" concert in Beijing's Worker Gymnasium Friday night.

Leung will sing her new single "Silk Road" on stage, composed and produced by Taiwan pop singer Lee-hom Wong. A-xin,lead, singer of Taiwan pop band Mayday, wrote lyrics for this single.

Jasmine Leung's stage will be designed as an extravagant palace and she will be the only "princess" on stage.

It is Jasmine's first time to hold a concert in the Chinese mainland. Organizers invited orchestral musicians to accompany her voice.

Fans are going to enjoy a pop concert which also is mixed and mingled with Chinese traditional tri-chord and western classic orchestral music elements.

After the concert, Leung's new album will be released in mid-September.
