    HONG KONG, Sept. 5 (Xinhuanet) -- An earthquake measuring 5.9 on the Richter scale hit Celebes sea, Indonesia, at 8:03 a.m. (0003 GMT) Monday, according to the Hong Kong Observatory.

    The epicenter was initially determined to be 3.0 north latitude, 123.0 east longitude, about 260 kilometers northwest of Manado, Indonesia. Enditem
