CAIRO, Sept. 3 (Xinhuanet) -- Egyptian security forces have revealed the identification of three bombers who carried out the deadly attacks at the Egyptian Red Sea resort of Sharm el-Sheikh in July, the Al-Ahram daily reported Saturday.

    The bombers were identified through DNA testing as three Bedouins, Mahmoud Mohamed Hammad, Mohamed Oudeh Saeed and Moussa Ghoneim, said the daily, adding the three travelled from the northern Sinai town of el Arish to carry out the attacks, which killed 64 people on July 23.

    Two of the bombers, who drove vehicles to attack a hotel and an Arabian market in an old town, used gas cylinders packed with explosives, the daily said. The third bomber carried a bag with explosives, the daily added.

    The Egyptian security forces have been combing the northeastern region of Sinai near el Arish to search for those behind the attacks.

    The same group was believed to be behind the attacks which took place last October in Taba Hilton hotel and some resorts further south in Sinai, as well as an attack in August on a vehicle used bya multinational observer force that monitors the border with Israel.

    Two Canadian female soldiers were killed in the August attack, the Egyptian security was quoted as saying. Enditem
