Strong earthquake hits Micronesia

    HONG KONG, Sept. 3 (Xinhuanet) -- A strong earthquake measuring 5.6 on the Richter scale hit Micronesia at 2:41 a.m. (1141 GMT) on Saturday, according to the Hong Kong Observatory.

    The epicenter was initially determined to be over the seas near Micronesia, that is 10.3 north latitude, 138.4 east longitude, about 100 kilometers north-northeast of Yap. Enditem
