Eva Longoria is voted the sexiest female TV star of all time in a poll conducted by British supermarket Sainsbury's.

BEIJING, Sept. 1 -- Eva Longoria, who has only been in the public eye for about two years, was voted the sexiest female TV star of all time.

The 30-year-old beauty and former Miss Corpus Christi, who plays adulteress Gabrielle Solis on the hit ABC show "Desperate Housewives," received the honor courtesy of a poll conducted by British supermarket Sainsbury's, no doubt the arbiter of sex appeal and savings.

The honor confirms that Longoria's topping the Maxim magazine's Hot 100 list in May was no fluke.
