Turkey Moto GP to be held in Istanbul

    ANKARA, Aug. 31 (Xinhuanet) -- The Turkey Grand Prix of Moto GP is expected to be held at Istanbul Park Circuit on October 23.

    Turkish State Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Mehmet Ali Sahin signed an agreement with Dorna firm's owner Carmelo Espelata, who gathers the rights of the Moto GP organization.

    Sahin said at a press conference, "the 16th leg of the Moto GP,the round before the final race, will be held at Istanbul Park".

    Meanwhile, Espelata said that the Istanbul Park Circuit was oneof the best circuits in the world, adding that everybody, including the world champion (motorcyclist) Valentino Rossi, were talking about how exciting the Istanbul Park Circuit was.

    Moto GP, watched alive by more than 80,000 people in every country it is being organized, is also broadcast in 185 countries.Around 50,000 foreigners come to watch this race in every country it is being held.

    Turkey Grand Prix of Moto GP is expected to last for six years. Enditem
