Gaza, Aug. 31 (Xinhuanet) -- The Palestinian and the Israeli security officials will hold talks on Wednesday to discuss issues concerning the Israeli troops withdrawal from the Gaza Strip under unilateral disengagement plan.

Tawfik Abu Khousa, the Palestinian Interior Ministry spokesman, said the head of the Palestinian national security Jamal Abu Zayed will meet with the chief of Israeli army planning unit Dan Haraiel.

Abu Khousa added that the two sides will discuss the coordination to ensure the Israeli withdrawal goes smoothly.

Senior Palestinian officials said that the Israeli army would hand over the evacuated 21 Gaza settlements one by one to the Palestinian National Authority. Enditem
