JAKARTA, Aug. 31 (Xinhuanet) -- An earthquake measuring 5.6 on the Richter
scale shook the Indonesian tsunami-stricken province of Aceh at 14:30 local time
(07:30 GMT) Wednesday.
Local meteorology and geophysics agency said the epicenter was located 50
km southeast of the provincial capital of Banda Aceh, reported the Antara News
Agency.
The tremor was felt in the eastern and southern coasts in the province.
