Top legislature to vote for passing 3 draft laws

   BEIJING, Aug. 23 (Xinhuanet) -- China's top legislature is to vote for passing three draft laws here Tuesday.

   The draft amendment of law on women's rights protection, the draft law on notary services and the draft amendment of law on penalties for offences against public order will be voted to pass during the 17th meeting of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC), which lasts from Aug. 23 through to 28.

   According to the draft amendment of law on penalties for offences against public order, which was submitted for the third reading on the ongoing legislative session, young offenders under 18 years old could be free from detention in his/her first case of offending public order. Enditem
