Paris Hilton dumps Tinkerbell for new "partner"

Paris Hilton and her ex-partner Tinkerbell.
BEIJING, Aug. 22 -- Hilton hotel heiress and reality TV star Paris Hilton has been criticised by animal rights groups for apparently dumping her dog Tinkerbell because she grew too big.

Paris Hilton has reportedly dumped her famous Chihuahua partner, Tinkerbell, for another dog, Bambi. Apparently, she only likes Chihuahuas very small and Tinkerbell got too big, growing past her ideal weight of 3.5 pounds.

Hilton is now under fire from many animal rights activists, including the organization PETA, for this action. A spokesperson from the group said, "It's a pity that Paris' heart doesn't match her pocketbook. Animals shouldn't be disposed of like last season's trendy handbag."

    Paris Hilton's Wedding Plans

It is rumored that the Paris Hilton Latsis wedding will happen this summer in Greece.

Paris Hilton, who is engaged to Paris Latsis the son of a Greek shipping tycoon, was told recently that despite writing Prince Charles to beg him for permission to marry in St. Paul's Cathedral, she would not be able to because she is not royalty.

Paris Hilton will be paying for her fairytale wedding in Greece and in the United States although Latsis presented her with 15 different engagement rings to choose from. Hilton chose an engagement ring made of 24-carats, emerald-cut diamond with a platinum band.
