BEIJING, Aug. 19 -- Gao Xiumin, an actress famous for her funny skits, died Thursday evening at home in Changchun, Jilin Province from a sudden heart attack. Gao was only 46. 

    Gao¡¯s husband He Qingkui, a renowned scriptwriter, hurried home from work after hearing the sad news.

    Gao was born in 1959 and was popular with Chinese audiences for skits played with Zhao Benshan. Chinese television audiences have been impressed by her role as Ding Xiang in the well-received TV series ¡°Liu Laogen.¡±
