Taliban releases Lebanese hostage

    KABUL, Aug. 18 (Xinhuanet) -- Taliban militants have released the Lebanese hostage Thursday morning in southern Afghanistan, said Taliban spokesperson Latif Hakimi.

    Around 10 a.m. (local time), Taliban handed over Ahmad Reza, the kidnapped Lebanese engineer, who was working for the Turkish road construction company, to Tazy military check point at Shah Joy district of Zabul province. Enditem
