BAGHDAD, Aug. 17 (Xinhuanet) -- Three suicide bombings rocked theIraqi capital of Baghdad early Wednesday, killing at least 20 people and injuring dozens, police said.

Two car bombs exploded within minutes at the al-Nahda bus station in central Baghdad, and the third one was detonated by a suicide bomber near the al-Kindi Hospital, where the injured were arriving for treatment, police said.

The latest wave of violence came after the parliament failed to complete drafting the constitution on schedule due to differences among the political factions. Enditem
