LONDON, Aug. 16 (Xinhuanet) -- Four people have been arrested under the Terrorism Act at Manchester airport in Britain.
The arrests took place after a raid on a house in the West Midlands Monday night, according to Sky TV.
Two men - aged 48 and 23 - and two women - aged 48 and 27 - were later detained at the airport in Manchester.
They were being held under Section 15 of the act on suspicion of providing money or other property suspected of being used for the purpose of terrorism.
All four were taken to a police station in the Greater Manchester area for questioning.
Police sources in London said they did not think the arrests were connected with two waves of bombing attacks, one botched, on the capital last month. Enditem
