KABUL, Aug. 16 (Xinhuanet) -- A helicopter belonging to the international security force in Afghanistan has crashed, killing 17 Spanish soldiers, a spokeswoman said.

    The helicopter was on a training exercise for upcoming parliamentary elections when it came down and crashed with another helicopter south of the city of Herat in western Afghanistan.

    A military source told Xinhua that at least 17 people had been killed in the crash and five more were still missing. Enditem
