Roadside bomb kills 3 US soldiers in northern Iraq

    BAGHDAD, Aug. 14 (Xinhuanet) -- A roadside bomb killed three US soldiers and wounded another who were on a patrol mission in northern Iraq, the US military said on Sunday.

    The explosion occurred late on Friday at Tuz, some 180 km north of Baghdad, the military said in a brief statement.

    A total of 1,850 US troops have been killed in Iraq since the March 2003 invasion. Enditem
