www.chinaview.cn 2005-08-06 18:40:50

GAZA, Aug. 6 (Xinhuanet) -- The Palestinian National Authority(PNA) accused Israel on Saturday of keeping hiding information and details related to its withdrawal from the Gaza Strip and northern West Bank.

The PNA Foreign Ministry said in a statement that it prepared a draft that details the legal position of the Gaza Strip after the withdrawal and international efforts to resume the peace process.

The statement revealed that Foreign Minister Nasser el-Qedwa formed a committee to study ways of cooperation in different areas related to the situation after the withdrawal.

It said that the PNA is exerting efforts to make the withdrawal successful, although Israeli occupation forces on purpose delay providing information about the pullout.

The statement called on Israel to have a complete withdrawal from all the occupied Palestinian territories, adding it is important to have the Gaza Strip and the West Bank geographicallyc onnected after the intended Israeli withdrawal.

Israel is expected to withdraw from the Gaza Strip and northern West Bank as of mid-August. Enditem
