TEHRAN, Aug. 5 (Xinhuanet) -- The European Union (EU)
on Friday presented its long-awaited comprehensive proposal on the Iranian
nuclear issue, state television reported.
The proposal was delivered by the ambassadors of Britain, France and Germany to Tehran, the EU trio acting as
brokers of Iran's nuclear issue for nearly two years, said the report.
Tehran has threatened to resume uranium conversion
earlier this week to press the Europeans to present the promised proposal.
Iran has suspended its uranium enrichment activities
since November 2004 to pave the way for talks with the EU trio to settle dispute
over its nuclear program. Enditem
