ROME, Aug. 4 (Xinhuanet) -- Italy will hold an extradition hearing on Aug. 17 for
Hamdi Issac who has admitted taking part in the failed bomb attacks in London
last month, Italian judicial sources said on Thursday.
A three-judge panel, headed by Domenico Miceli, may also be ready to issue
their ruling on the same day, according to the sources.
Hamdi Issac, also known as Osman Hussein, was arrested on July 29 in Rome.
He has pledged to fight against his extradition, saying that he would appeal to
Italy's supreme court if Italy decided to hand him over to Britain.
Britain requested Italy on Wednesday to extradite Issac and hoped the
process could be completed by the end of the year, but if Italian magistrates
decide to prosecute Issac the process may be complicated. Enditem
