BEIJING, Aug. 3 (Xinhuanet) -- US chief negotiator Christopher Hill said here Wednesday that the latest draft common document on the Korean Peninsula nuclear issue "narrowed differences" among all sides and it was possible an agreement could be reached.
Japanese chief negotiator Sasae Kenichiro said that there is some progress in the talks but the final results cannot be seen yet.
Negotiators to the six-party talks, involving China, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, the United States, the Republic of Korea, Russia and Japan, will continue discussing the latest draft on Wednesday.
The US will hold one-on-one consultation with Japan first and then with China this morning. Enditem |
