351 foetus found dead in Parisian hospital

    PARIS, Aug. 2 (Xinhuanet) -- A series of inquiries were opened after a total of 351 foetus or babies born dead were found in a hospital mortuary in Paris, French Health Ministry announced Tuesday.

    France's Health Minister Xavier Bertrand told journalists that he was informed of the affair on Monday. French Prime Minister Dominique de Villepin ordered an immediate administrative inquiry to clarify.

    The French government has asked the Health Ministry to launch an inspection in all French hospitals. Enditem
