UN says Garang had been killed in helicopter crash, no confirmation from Sudanese govt

    khartoum, Aug. 1 (Xinhuanet) -- Officials in the United Nations' Mission in Sudan said earlier Monday morning that Sudanese First-Vice President John Garang had been killed in a helicopter crash.

    But Xinhua has not got any confirmation from the Sudanese government on Garang's death. Enditem
