BAGHDAD, July 30 (Xinhuanet) -- Gunmen kidnapped a female Iraqi Health Ministry official in western Baghdad on Saturday, police said.

"Unknown armed men abducted Iman Naji Abdul-Razzaq, the director general of the projects department in the Health Ministry, in Baghdad's Mansur district," an Interior Ministry source told Xinhua on condition of anonymity.

Abdul-Razzaq was snatched away from her home at around 12:30 p.m. (0830 GMT), the source added.

Hours earlier, the bodies of three Baghdad airport employees kidnapped on Wednesday were found in southwestern Baghdad. Allthree were blindfolded and shot in the head.

Insurgents frequently kidnapped and murdered Iraqi government employees in an attempt to cripple the Shiite-dominated government formed in late April. Enditem
