BERLIN, July 24 (Xinhuanet) -- Spanish Fernando Alonso won the German Grand Prix in Hockenheim on Sunday.

    He came home in his Renault well clear of McLaren's Juan-Pablo Montoya while British Jenson Button was third in a BAR-Honda.

    Winning his sixth race of the season, Alonso holds a 36-point lead with seven races remaining over Finn Kimi Raikkonen, whose McLaren retired after 32 of the 67 laps with an advantage of 10 seconds. Enditem
