BEIJING, July 22 -- Tennis stars Venus and Serena
Williams launched their own reality TV show Wednesday night in America.
You'll get to see such highlights as Venus jogging in
a bikini and making fun of a yoga session and Serena reciting Shakespeare and
trying to cope with her disobedient dog.
Venus says they did it to prove to the world that
they are in charge of their own lives:
"Over the years there's been so many people who have
kind of said and dictated how they thought the relationship was."
Unlike some reality programs that are televised from
one location, film crews had to keep up with the sisters' busy schedule over six
weeks. In the first week alone, the sisters were in five cities.
Serena says the series, six-part "Venus &
Serena: For Real," is a "family project."
"It's not just myself and Venus," she said. "It turns
out you get to learn a lot about my older sisters, like Isha and Lyndrea, and my
mom and my dad. And you get to see the dynamic relationship that all of us have,
so it's really cool."
