    BAGHDAD, July 14 (Xinhuanet) -- Twin bomb attacks occurred outsidethe Baghdad's heavily fortified Green Zone Thursday morning, police said.     

    "A parked booby-trapped car detonated outside a restaurant named Haider Dabal near the entrance of the Green Zone," a police colonel close to the scene told Xinhua on condition of anonymity.

    "Shortly, a suicide bomber wearing an explosive-belt blewhimself up outside the nearby Salhiyah police compound," he said,adding Iraqi security forces opened fire at another suspected suicide bomber and arrested him before he detonated himself.

    It was not clear whether there was any casualty as US forces cordoned off the area, he said. Enditem
