Disney on Ice brings electricity generators
www.chinaview.cn 2005-07-13 10:48:31

BEIJING, July 13 -- Jungle Adventures of Disney on Ice will bring electrical generators for its performance instead of using local electricity.

Disney on Ice is now in its tour's first stop of Hangzhou City, in China's Zhejiang Province.

Reports that the city stop had been canceled due to power shortage were brushed away. Hangzhou has suffered from an electricity shortage recently.

Xue Jide, chief executive of Disney's Asian-Pacific area, refutes the rumor and confirms that the scheduled time will not be changed.

The ice performance glides into Beijing at the beginning of August.
