Kurdish rebels claim responsibility for Turkey attack

    BEIJING, July 11 -- Kurdish separatists have claimed responsibility for a bombing in a Turkish resort town on Sunday that wounded 20 people.

    The Kurdistan Liberation Hawks told the Europe-based Mezopotamya News Agency it was behind the blast in Cesme, an Aegean Sea town popular with Turkish and foreign tourists.

    The group, a militant wing of the banned Kurdistan Workers Party,warned they would carry out further attacks.
