MANILA, July 10 (Xinhuanet) -- Near the decisive moment in her presidential career, Philippine President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo Sunday still enjoyed her relaxing walk with her family.

According to the ABS-CBN TV news, President Arroyo took a stroll along a baywalk beside Manila Bay with her daughter Evangeline "Luli" Arroyo, son Ignacio "Dato" Arroyo and daughter-in-law Kakai after they attended a mass at a church in the morning.

The President has been under fire over her refusal to step down from office despite calls from her former Cabinet members for her to resign.

She was also urged by former President Corazon Aquino to make the "supreme sacrifice" of resigning and allowing Vice-President Noli de Castro to assume the presidency.

The most influential Catholic organization, the Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines, is due to release a long time-studied statement of their official attitude towards Arroyo'spresidency later Sunday. Enditem
