LONDON, July 8 (Xinhuanet) -- London Mayor Ken Livingstone on Friday launched a London Bombing Relief Fund in association with the British Red Cross for the victims of the deadly terrorist attacks which killed more than 50 people and injured more than 700in London on Thursday.

Livingstone said at a press conference that "a group of cold blooded murderers attempted to terrorize London. They struck at ordinary Londoners without discrimination as to their beliefs, their race, their occupation or anything else".

"I believe it is the wish of Londoners that those who have suffered deaths of their loved ones or serious injuries should also be helped by all Londoners," he said.

The British Red Cross has offered facilities to the London Bombing Relief Fund to collect and administer donations.

According to London police, the bombings have injured people from around the world, including those from Australia, Portugal, Poland and Sierra Leone. Enditem
