TOKYO, July 7 (Xinhuanet) -- A Japanese right-winger attacked the Chinese Consulate General in Osaka on Thursday, yet causing no property damage and casualty.

The man came to the front gate of the building on a bike at around 4:20 p.m. (0720 GMT), and smeared a window with a fire-extinguisher, according to officials of the Consulate.

The man, leader of a right-wing group, was arrested by the Japanese police on the scene on charge of damaging properties.

The Consulate has lodged complaint with the police and asked for sound measures against the recurrence of such incident. Enditem
