Leaders of 5 developing countries meet

    GLENEAGLES, Britain, July 7 (Xinhuanet) -- The leaders of five developing countries, namely China, India, Brazil, South Africa, and Mexico, met Thursday in Gleneagles, Scotland, before their meeting with Group of Eight (G8) leaders.

    The leaders of the five developing countries are expected to coordinate their stand on issues to be discussed late in the day with G8 leaders, including the world economy and climate change.

    During the meeting, Chinese President Hu Jintao will discuss China's stand on South-South cooperation, supporting the interests of developing countries, and solutions to global issues. Enditem
