"Reports now indicate that the crash was caused by hostile fire, possibly a rocket propelled grenade," Jim Yonts told reporters at a news briefing here.

The CH-47 helicopter carrying forces to support Afghan and US troops in battle against militants was crashed last Tuesday on Kunar's mountains and all 16 aboard were killed.
