Jackie Chan's "The Myth" to hit movie theaters in Sept.

    BEIJING, July 5 -- Jackie Chan's latest martial arts blockbuster "The Myth" will hit cinema screens across the world on September 23rd.

    The Hong Kong action star leads an all star lineup including South Korean actress Kim Hee Sun and Hong Kong actor Leung Ka Fai.

    At a press conference in Beijing on Tuesday, Chan and Kim told some unexpected stories about shooting the film.

    The Myth is a 20 million USD production co-produced by Chan's film company and the China Film Group Corporation.

    The film tells of the discovery by an archaeologist of a mausoleum built by China's first emperor Qin Shihuang in 221 BC.

    Chan revealed that for his next film project he will collaborate with the celebrated mainland director Zhang Yimou on a comedy set in 1980s China.
