PHNOM PENH, July 5 (Xinhuanet) -- A Vietnamese airplane slipped off the runway at Cambodia's Siem Reap Airport on Tuesday evening, Airport officials said.

An Airbus 320 of Vietnam Airlines from Ho Chi Minh City slipped off the runway and its front wheel sticked in the mud as it landed in heavy rain, said an official who asked not to be named.

There were a total of 90 passengers and eight aircraft crew aboard. No casualty was reported, and the reason of the accident is still under investigation.

Siem Reap, about 300 km northwestern of the capital Phnom Penh, is the gateway to the world famous Angkor Wat temples, which attracts many foreign visitors. Enditem
