Earthquake hits Sumatra of Indonesia

    HONG KONG, July 5 (Xinhuanet) -- An earthquake measuring 6.7 on the Richter scale rocked seas west of northern Sumatra, Indonesia, at 9:58 a.m. (0158 GMT) Tuesday, according to the Hong Kong Observatory.

    The epicenter was initially determined to be 1.9 north latitude,97.1 east longitude, about 260 kilometers southwest of Medan. Enditem
