ZHUCHENG, Shandong, June 30 (Xinhuanet) -- African countries are ready to boost
cooperation with Chinese enterprises in the face of globalization, said
Allele Elhadji Habibou, a senior official withNiger's ruling party, here
Thursday.
Habibou, secretary of the National Movement for the Society of Development
of Niger and also head of a delegation composed of 17 members from the ruling
parties of nine African countries, made the remarks following an inspection tour
of several township enterprises in Zhucheng, a city in east China's Shandong
Province.
During his visit to the Zhucheng City Foreign Trade Group, one of China's
largest poultry exporters, Shandong Xinlang Sinoer Garment Group and the Beiqi
Foton Motor Co., Ltd, Habibou called for more cooperation between China and
African countries in the fields of agriculture, textile and food-processing,
since Africa has abundant raw materials.
"I hope that China's textile companies can import more cotton from Africa
in the future," he said.
The African party officials also spoke highly of the leadership of the
Communist Party of China (CPC) in the development of enterprises.
"It impressed me a lot to see that almost every enterprise has its own
party unit, which plays an important role in their development," said Boubacar
Sory from Niger.
The delegation is here as the guest of the International Department of the CPC
Central Committee. Shandong, a coastal province in east China, is the third leg
of their 16-day study and investigation tour in China.
The 17 members of the delegation are from ruling parties in Cameroon,
Djibouti, Equatorial Guinea, Guinea, Madagascar, Niger, Rwanda, Seychelles and
Togo. Enditem |
